Concrete and polycrete Jacking pipes – Microtunneling system

Reinforced concrete pipes alluvial inert materials, round and/or crushed, are used to manufacture the concrete. The size of the gravel and crushed stones used is between 5 and 25 mm. The washed sands are natural and are the result of crushing, with a maximum size of 4 mm. The cements used are chosen according to the environmental exposure classes and to the project resistance of the concrete. It will be possible to use binders with PORTLAND resistance classes 42,5 R or 52,5R or with a very high resistance to sulphates.

Polycrete pipes polycrete jacking pipes are perfectly resistant to corrosion. The porphiry and quartz inert materials used have a grain size texture with a low volume of voids.
The materials used and the total absence of concrete and limestone ensure corrosion resistance both in acidic and basic environments (pH 1÷10). In this way a solution has been found to the old problem of resistance to aggression of hydrogen sulphide which normally develops in low-speed sewage systems.
The polycrete structure is closed, compact, with no capillary pipes and does not absorb any water. The pipes produced with this material have a high resistance to compression, traction and bending.
