It is a prefabricated reinforced concrete element which allows a motor vehicle to keep the direction of travel for angles of impact > 10°-15° with very small or no damages to the vehicle and the manufactured element. The special shape of the barrier was designed in such a way that the energy of the vehicle is dispersed by the vehicle itself, both by friction and by converting itself in potential energy when the wheels go up the side of the barrier. The great advantage of the concrete barrier in comparison to the metal barrier is the continuity of the profile and this enables the vehicle to correct its trajectory or to stop. In addition to being used as a traffic barrier, it can also be used to mark road construction sites where people have to work while there is traffic on the side. There is no better safety system for those who have to work along major roads with a lot of traffic.Technical data request
