CONSTRUCTION OF THE DRAINAGE CHANNEL IN VIALE PALMANOVA WITH THE MICROTUNNELING SYSTEM

Jacking pipe DN/ED 1600/1940 – Pipe length 3 m – Section length approximately 1400 m

It is a mixed type sewage system which can relieve the rainwater drain and the inflow of wastewaters coming from the city centre. The drainage channel is approximately 1470 m long in a high traffic area. With the microtunnel it was possible not to interrupt the roads during the works. Four sections were carried out (305 m – 390 m – 408 m – 367 m), one of which has the following bend radius R=90 m.
